Julien Baker released her debut album »Sprained Ankle« three years ago. The then-19-year-old only took a few days to record it: the result was a collection of sombre yet strong and hopeful songs, sad documents of a southern-state adolescence of alcohol, pain, God-fearing and homosexuality. Julien Baker now presents her second album »Turn Out the Lights« in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall.
