Julian Lage Trio
Jazz Guitar
Julian Lage was a guitar prodigy. The boy from the San Francisco Bay Area began performing publicly at the age of six; by the time he was eight he was jamming with Carlos Santana and starring in the Oscar-nominated documentary »Jules at Eight«. Since then he has played with Herbie Hancock, vibraphone innovator Gary Burton and avant-garde guitarist Nels Cline. Over the last two years, Julian Lage has been increasingly playing electric guitar in a trio with double bass and drums, switching effortlessly between bebop jazz, early rock ’n’ roll, surf and flamenco.
