Joy Denalane & Mikis Takeover! Ensemble

The classically trained violinist, leader and composer Miki Kekenj thinks well outside his orchestral box and has for many years been organising extraordinary concerts featuring rather unusual musicians in this context. Kekenj re-composes works, giving them a classical guise without distorting the original atmosphere of the music – rather, he lifts it to a new level. He is joined in this concert by the Berlin-based singer Joy Denalane.
