The Spanish pianist Josu De Solaun is first prize winner of the International George Enescu Piano Competition in Bucharest, first prize winner of the International José Iturbi Piano Competition and first prize winner of the European Union Piano Competition. He is also an excellent accompanist: for his CD recording »Fantasque«, together with violinist Franziska Pietsch, he received the coveted »International Classical Music Award« (ICMA) in 2021 – one of the most important prizes in the international music scene.
