A magical ensemble feeling unites bandleader and saxophonist Joshua Redman, pianist Brad Mehldau, bass player Christian McBride and Drummer Brian Blade, a kind of spiritual alchemy that endows the quartet with a unique compact and driving, but still elastic swing. These are four strong musical personalities who swap rhythmic, melodic and harmonic ideas, but still leave each other space for a »break«, even in the solos.

Unlike »MoodSwing«, where Redman plays the lead role, »RoundAgain« is an album where each of the four members of the group contributes his own songs. »We just started playing, and straight away the old magic was back,« says Joshua Redman about the studio sessions.
