In the almost 15 years that the band I Think You’re Awesome has existed, it has become one of the most creative and well-known Danish jazz formations. Its undogmatic and curious approach to music has fostered collaborations with other jazz musicians such as Ole »Fessor« Lindgren and the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, but also singer songwriters and classical artists. Concerts with the multi-award-winning ensemble are heart-warming, humorous and joyful experiences that simultaneously dare to articulate and tackle the challenges of life. It is music that contains a thoughtful tone, but also an optimistic message.
Jazz at the Kulturcafé is a monthly event presenting the most promising upcoming artists in the jazz and singer-songwriter scene. It is the perfect experimental platform for musicians and bands from Hamburg and all over the country. The atmosphere is laid back – and admission is free!
