Hollywood in Hamburg: David Arnold
»The Sound of James Bond«
One of the most successful series in film history would be unthinkable without its striking individual sound: in the course of the now 50-year history of James Bond, some of the best composers of their time were hired to create the cool Bond sound. Two of them made their mark on the 007 series to a special extent: five-time Oscar winner John Barry (1933–2011) and David Arnold, one of the busiest British composers in Hollywood.
The series »Hollywood in Hamburg« brings the greatest film music composers straight from Hollywood to Hamburg. The star composers take part in the concerts themselves, giving interesting insights into their work and bringing their most impressive soundtracks to life in an opulent concert atmosphere.
