Music meets climate change mitigation

Hardly any topic is more pressing and relevant worldwide than climate change, and hardly anyone is more competent to present it in a differentiated way in all its facets than Prof. Dr. Harald Lesch. He is a professor of astrophysics at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and lectures in natural philosophy at the Hochschule für Philosophie in Munich. He is both a widely read non-fiction author and a gifted presenter in his ZDF science programme »Leschs Kosmos«, among other television programmes. For many years, Harald Lesch has been committed to climate change mitigation at all levels and draws attention to the dramatic situation – that there is no more time to lose in order to avert a massive climate catastrophe. In order to also get involved artistically, Harald Lesch has established an artistic partnership with Martin Walch, the founder and director of the Vienna-based Merlin Ensemble Wien.
