All good things come in threes

More than 800 people received their coronavirus jabs in the large pop-up vaccine centre in the Elbphilharmonie at the beginning of September, and another 800 in early October. Hamburg’s most beautiful waiting room is now opening its doors again for round three. For the first time, third doses of the vaccine are now also being offered. Jabs will be administered in the dressing rooms with panorama views on the 12th floor of the Elbphilharmonie btween 13:00 and 21:00. From there, like the stars, you head out afterwards onto the Grand Hall stage – the most beautiful waiting room of all time.

Vaccine types
BioNTech, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson

First and second vaccines
For everyone aged 12 and over
Under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
The first vaccination with an mRNA vaccine must have been a minimum of 21 days ago

Third vaccines
In accordance with the current STIKO recommendation, the following people can have a third dose of the vaccine:

Persons aged 18+
Persons with an immunodeficiency, from 28 days after the second vaccine
Important note: The second vaccine must have been a minimum of 6 months ago

Optimisation vaccine
Optimisation vaccines using an mRNA vaccine (BioNTech, Moderna) are available for:

Persons who have had a single dose of Johnson & Johnson
Important note: The vaccination must have been a minimum of 28 days ago
