Hamburg Oratorio Choir / Symphoniker Hamburg
Anniversary Concert
The Hamburg Oratorio Choir consists of three choirs with about 160 active male and female singers. Every spring the three choirs jointly sing a major concert at the Laeiszhalle Hamburg as the Hamburg Oratorio Choir. This year the choir celebrates its 50 year anniversary with a festive programme of Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s »Te Deum« and Franz Schubert’s Mass in E-flat major accompanied by the Symphoniker Hamburg. Thekla Jonathal, who has directed the choir for the past 20 years, once again takes the conductor’s rostrum.
