Songs of love
After musical excursions to Paris, New York and Rome, Götz Alsmann and his band now turn their attention to songs of love. Alsmann sings works by great composers and lyricists from the German-speaking lands, whose specialism has always been love songs. Some are dreamy and tender, while others are swashbuckling and wild. Be they works from the 1920s and 30s, post-war chansons or gems from the 50s and 60s – Götz Alsmann and his band transport all these classics to the world of jazz with their typical sound.
