Garda & Ensemble Tanderas

After touring Europe and Japan with »Die, Technique, Die« (2008) and »A Heart of a Pro« (2012), Garda – a band of six musicians from the Erzgebirge – now presents their latest project: an opulent album that oscillates between fragile folk moments and orchestral string and wind movements. The band’s third album features folk and Americana as well as intricate pop songs and epic ballads. Garda’s line-up varies from the original duo of singer-songwriter Kai Lehmann and drummer Ronny Wunderwald to an 11-strong ensemble with string quartet, brass, pedal steel guitar, bass clarinet and vibraphone.
