Karlheinz Stockhausen’s piece »Der kleine Harlekin« (The Little Harlequin) was inspired by his belief that there is another, cosmic dimension alongside our earthly world that determines our lives. It tells the story of a young girl that gradually becomes self-aware, growing up and carried away into a new world. A production of the Wiener Taschenoper.
