The violinist Maria Ioudenitch, the cellist Sebastian Fritsch and the pianist Aaron Pilsan are three exceptional young musical talents. All three have won prestigious awards and are successful soloists. In April 2023, for the first time, they are joining forces as a trio for a concert in the Elbphilharmonie. In the discussion concert, the three musicians reflect on the process of growing together musically, something that usually remains hidden from the audience’s view. Is everyone on the same page musically and personally? How are decisions taken? And what kind of surprises and frictions have they experienced? An illuminating conversation about chemistry in music and the art of playing together. Afterwards, the three present excerpts from their programme in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall on 19 April.
