Film Concert: Symphoniker Hamburg

Original and spectacular cult films on screen: »Sherlock Jr.« is a silent film classic, a brilliant comedy by Buster Keaton, who also stars as the unfortunate projectionist that assumes the mantle of the famous detective. The crazy antics of comedians Laurel and Hardy offer plenty more laughs in their 1929 movies »Big Business« and »Liberty«. Symphoniker Hamburg accompanies the film scenes with colourful live music, with American conductor Timothy Brock on the rostrum. Brock is himself an expert on film music: he composed the score for »Sherlock Jr.«.
