Elbe Habitat Charity Gala
MSC Foundation Presents: Moser / Ponti / Tarver / Malich / Felix Mendelssohn Jugendorchester
Marking the occasion of its official launch and in support of the regeneration of the Elbe river, the MSC Foundation proudly offers this exclusive event in partnership with the Elbe Habitat Foundation, to which all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated. Renowned cellist Johannes Moser and tenor Kenneth Tarver perform popular pieces of classical music with the Felix Mendelssohn Jugendorchester, conducted by Clemens Malich and Carlo Ponti.
The Elbe Habitat Foundation is dedicated to nature conservation that enhances the ecological status of the Elbe river. With this unique gala concert, the MSC Foundation aids an Elbe Habitat Foundation programme, which develops new tidal habitats in the dike foreland near Kirchwerder. It aims to preserve the river landscape’s unique habitats and natural diversity by returning a further section of the northern Elbe’s banks to nature.
