Ekaterine Khvedelidze / Piano Recital
Franck / Scriabin / Chopin
Pianist Ekaterine Khvedelidze comes from Georgia and she completed her training there and in Detmold. She now calls Berlin home, where she captivates audiences with genuinely poetic piano performances. For this concert in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall, Khvedelidze has selected piano miniatures by Frédéric Chopin and Alexander Scriabin. When composing his 24 Préludes, Scriabin took Chopin’s 24 Préludes as his model. All these pieces can be understood as snapshots of the soul, in which the composers express deep sentiments.
