Echo Klassik

Joyce DiDonato, Matthias Goerne, Daniel Hope, Kent Nagano, Maurizio Pollini, Fazıl Say, Christian Tetzlaff, the Vienna Piano Trio, Thomas Fritzsch, Sebastian Knauer, Linus Roth and young artist Lucas Debargue are all among the prizewinners of the 2017 Echo Klassik award. Tenor Jonas Kaufmann has also been honoured in the category »Bestseller of the Year«. Overall, this year’s Echo Klassik ceremony will feature 54 awards in 22 different categories. The 2017 Echo prizes will be presented at a festive gala ceremony at the Elbphilharmonie. The event will be hosted for the fourth time running by TV star Thomas Gottschalk.
