Discover Talent: Dmytro Choni / Piano Recital
Debussy / Schumann / Prokofiev
Auf der Suche nach Wahrheit
»For me, success means continually growing both as a musician and a person, and never ceasing to search for the truth in music.« Dmytro Choni’s maxim speaks for his artistic maturity – as does the list of his musical partners and of the venues where he has already appeared.
The Ukrainian pianist was born in Kyiv in 1993; he had his first piano lessons when he was four, and is currently a student at the University of Music and the Fine Arts in Graz. He has worked his way to the top of his field, and it’s a little surprising that he has only recently been discovered. All the better, then, that he can be heard this season with a recital programme that directly reflects his complex artistic personality.
