Discover Talent: Dmitri Shishkin
Chopin / Medtner / Rachmaninov
Creative, playful, brilliant
Dmitri Shishkin, born in the Russian town of Cheliabinsk in 1992, already gave evidence of his extraordinary talent at an early age. He gave his first concert aged three, and he was only six when he appeared as an orchestra soloist for the first time. In addition to numerous prizes, most recently second place at the International Tchaikovsky Competition, he can already look back on appearances together with such major orchestras as the Russian National Orchestra, the Warsaw Philharmonic, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra.
