One prize follows another along her path to success: most recently, Anna Geniushene made it to the finale of the 2018 Leeds Piano Competition, and to the semi-final of the Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition. Winning third prize at the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in 2017, one of the world’s oldest piano contests, already gave this pianist from Moscow an idea of the brilliant future that most likely awaited her. Her blossoming versatility and love of experiment likewise hold great promise. Whether she appears as a piano duo with her husband Lukas Geniusas, or in interesting collaborations with the Quartetto die Cremona – many doors are open to this talented young pianist!
