Blind Husbands

The Freiburg-based Ensemble Recherche has been playing new and unknown music for more than 30 years, and after over 600 first performances and 50 CD recordings they can justifiably claim to have written music history themselves. The eight musicians playing woodwind and string instruments, piano and percussion are all contemporary-music specialists, united by a love of experiment. At their Elbphilharmonie concert they present brand new live music to accompany the 1919 silent film »Blind Husbands«.
