Music magazine »The Strad« enthused about the talented violinist Diana Tishchenko that she has »the ability to enthral the audience with her strong personality and her impressive gestures«. The members of the international Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra shared this view, and appointed her their youngest concertmaster of all time. Ms Tishchenko already showed her mettle together with the Symphoniker Hamburg in 2016, and she now returns to the Elbphilharmonie as a »Rising Star« - with music by Beethoven and George Enescu, as well as a new piece written especially for her by the Portuguese composerVasco Mendonça.
