»de:fine amour«
Trobar e Cantar – The Ensemble for Medieval Music
Power and morality, politics and intrigue, lust and pure joie de vivre: at the concert of »Trobar e Cantar«, minstrel dances, Minnelieder and motets from England, Germany, France, Italy and Spain tell of courtly love. The musicians perform on traditional musical instruments such as the fiddle, gemshorn, crumhorn or shawm, bombards, bagpipes and Jew’s harp, all reconstructed according to pictures and descriptions from around 1200 to 1600.
