Decoder Ensemble
»Laut und deutlich« 10 Years Decoder Ensemble
Innovative and unpredictable
Formed in Hamburg in 2011, Decoder is one of the most innovative and unpredictable representatives of the international contemporary music scene. Cross-genre collaborations are a natural part of the programme for the ensemble, as is a broad musical spectrum, ranging from experimental instrumental music and multimedia setups to musical concept art. Decoder hosted the Elbphilharmonie’s »Below Deck« series for several years. The ensemble now celebrates its tenth anniversary with a best-of programme and three commissioned works all composed specially for this occasion.
