Decoder Ensemble / Heinrich Horwitz

For the second evening of the »Unterdeck« series, the Decoder Ensemble has invited a special guest: Heinrich Horwitz. After many years of experience of directing, acting (both on stage and on TV, for example in the »Tatort«) and choreography, Horwitz is aware of the power of scenic expression. Born to actor and singer Dominique Horwitz and raised in Hamburg, the artist draws on her close connection to the Hanseatic city and now presents an evening with the Decoder Ensemble. Text, sound and movement is playfully interwoven in the space in order to repeatedly break up the intrinsic concert atmosphere. The result is an intensive, sensuous and in many ways unconventional appreciation of music and its physical representation.
