David Grubbs / Jan St. Werner

Jan St. Werner and David Grubbs expanded the expressive possibilities of pop in the 1990s with the bands Mouse on Mars and Gastr del Sol. In their duo project »Traverse«, they connect the basic elements of the voice, synthesisers and guitars. The sounds mutually influence each other, and translate almost independently into new tonal languages.
