Seemingly effortless

Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla has regrettably been forced to cancel her appearance in this concert due to illness. The conductor Vassily Sinaisky has kindly agreed to step in at short notice. The programme remains unchanged and tickets retain their validity.

The cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason has become something of a role model. A few years ago he was the first black musician to win the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, and he is now well on the way to becoming a high-profile international musician.
