This year the »Chinese-German Young Piano Competition« takes place for the first time. The piano competition is aimed at children and young people who are interested in the cultural exchange between China and Germany and are looking for an opportunity to present their piano skills to an interested audience and an expert jury.
Children and young people up to the age 21 of all nationalities, who live in the northern German states or in China and are currently not enrolled in a musical education, may apply to take part in the competition.
The jury is chaired by Professor Manfred Fock from the Musikhochschule Lübeck, Professor Oliver Kern from the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, and Ms Delphine Lize from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg.
