In aid of Doctors Without Borders in the Ukraine
Concert for a good cause
The Freunde des NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchesters e.V. association is organising a benefit concert in cooperation with the UKE’s University Heart & Vascular Centre Hamburg. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Doctors Without Borders, which is working to prevent a humanitarian disaster resulting from the war in Ukraine.
For the star Russian pianist Anna Vinnitskaya, it was very important to make this concert with the Elphier Quartet possible. She has been living and teaching in Hamburg for several years, and has very close ties to the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra. The Friends of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra and the UKE’s University Heart & Vascular Center Hamburg are very grateful to Anna Vinnitskaya and the members of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra for supporting this important project with their music.
