Chamber music beyond conventions

Georges Auric (1899–1983) was a member of the legendary »Groupe des Six«, a group of six composers who were all committed to the light music of the time and who rejected the impressionist and Romantic styles. His Trio for Oboe, Clarinet and Bassoon is followed by other inventive chamber music works by Erwin Schulhoff, Andreas Aigmüller, Astor Piazzolla and Camille Saint-Saëns.
