Caroline Shaw is a true musical all-rounder. The American singer, violinist and composer has worked with the rapper Kanye West and with the opera legend Renée Fleming, and she has also produced music for films, stage plays and computer games. At the age of 30, she became the youngest ever recipient of the Pulitzer Prize for Music. Her sounds speak to people very directly on various levels. In Hamburg she is joined by the unique quartet Sō Percussion for the first live performance in Germany of their latest joint album »Let the Soil Play Its Simple Part«.
