The New York Times has described the composer, singer and guitarist Milton Nascimento as »one of Brazil’s national treasures«. He is known as one of the greatest musical visionaries of his homeland and a pioneer of the música popular brasileira movement. Over the past few decades he has also worked with some true pop and jazz legends, among them Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Quincy Jones, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Herbie Hancock.
