CANCELLED: Albrecht Mayer / Die Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen
Since it will not be possible to hold concerts under normal conditions initially, only under strict hygiene restrictions and with a greatly reduced capacity, the promoter ProArte has decided to cancel the events scheduled for April, May and June 2021. Tickets for these concerts, with a hall plan adapted to the hygiene concept, will only go on sale again when it is possible to say with certainty at what point concerts can take place again.
Ticket returns: if you have individual tickets for this concert, please send them back to the promoter with the following form so that your refund can be arranged.
»When it is well played, it really touches the heart«, says Albrecht Mayer about his instrument, explaining at least in part why so many composers describe the oboe as the instrument closest to the human voice. So it seems only logical for an oboist to turn his attention to the vocal repertoire from time to time – especially if he wants to play Mozart, whose vocal melodies are known for their peerless beauty. Why not perform an »aria without words«? In his new programme, accompanied by the Deutschen Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, star oboist Mayer strolls down lesser-known repertoire paths and combines three Mozart concert arias with the composer’s Concerto for Flute and Harp – in an arrangement, of course, for the instrument closest to his heart!
