Stories from 1001 Nights
The top Hungarian orchestra and its chief conductor present a programme of Russian music. In the first half of the concert they perform Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, with Emmanuel Tjeknavorian as the soloist. And after the interval, they play Rimski-Korsakov’s famous symphonic suite »Scheherazade«, based on motifs from »1001 Nights«.
