Brooklyn Rider
»Earth, Air, Water, Fire« – Hamburg International Music Festival
Described by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as »four classical musicians performing with the energy of young rock stars«, the American string quartet Brooklyn Rider has embarked on numerous musical adventures over the past 15 years. They find inspiration in diverse musical languages, ranging from late Beethoven to traditional Persian sounds to minimal and American roots music. With their openness towards unconventional genres, Brooklyn Rider win over audiences far beyond the classical music community. The quartet makes its Elbphilharmonie debut with a very exciting new project entitled »The Four Elements«.
