Bill Murray, Jan Vogler & Friends
»New Worlds«
Bill Murray and Jan Vogler met and became friends while travelling in New York. With texts by Hemingway, Miller, Whitman, Twain and other American literature greats, and music composed by Bernstein, Gershwin, Bach, Beethoven and Shostakovich, the Hollywood actor and German cellist embark on a tour with their collaborative programme »New Worlds«. The two artists provide an insight into the charm and power of American values – of the ideals of the New World – and in so doing, establish close ties between America and Europe. Bill Murray recently discovered his love for classical music and his art of language knows no limits: reason enough to look forward to an exciting exchange between great music and great literature with two masters of their craft.
