Berlin Prize for Young Artists
Elbphilharmonie Konzertkino auf dem Vorplatz
Cathartic, disturbing, revolutionary, enigmatic, funny – unforgettable: concert programmes with these ingredients are what the »Berlin Prize for Young Artists« was looking for. The international music competition was curated by the online classical-music magazine VAN and sponsored by the Julius Bär Bank; the first finale takes place in October 2020. 300 applications have been received. The film documentary that the »Elbphilharmonie Concert Cinema« is showing tonight gives an intimate insight into the realities of the finalists’ day-to-day life and into their artistic worlds.
Please note: Tickets to this event allow you to attend the Concert Cinema on the Elbphilharmonie forecourt. The event is not held inside the Elbphilharmonie.
»Elbphilharmonie Concert Cinema« is a chance to relax outside, sitting on the floor or in beach chairs, and enjoy concerts on a big screen and in outstanding sound quality – live broadcasts from the Grand Hall as well as concert recordings from the last few years.
