Description

Benny Goodman was reluctant to perform this programme: on 16 January 1938, the visibly nervous jazz clarinettist joined his ensemble on the stage of sold-out Carnegie Hall in New York. It became a concert of a lifetime. 70 years on, the Swing Dance Orchestra brings this legendary concert back to life, in an accurate reconstruction.
