»Music,« the musician and author Thees Uhlmann wrote in his novel »Sophia, der Tod und ich«, »is like God’s telephone, and he calls us up to let us know he’s thinking of us.« For author Benedict Wells (»Becks letzter Sommer«, »Hard Land«), music supplies inspiration for his writing: he produces a playlist to match each of his novels. With »Bruce der Tod und wir«, the two authors put on an evening full of music and literature for the Harbour Front Sounds Festival in the Elbphilharmonie Grand Hall.
