While a number of famous composers – Beethoven, Schubert, Berlioz and Chopin among them – expressed admiration for the guitar, hardly any of them actually wrote works for the instrument. Niccolo Paganini, however, did produce an extensive repertoire for the guitar. Artyom Dervoed sees that as proof of Paganini’s love for the guitar and dedicates a whole programme to the Italian composer.
