Anja Lechner & Pablo Márquez
Reflektor Manfred Eicher
For German cellist Anja Lechner, who plays together with the Argentine guitarist Pablo Márquez at ECM founder Manfred Eicher’s »Reflektor« series, the music of Schubert has always been something of a guiding star. After numerous concerts together, their Elbphilharmonie programme »Die Nacht« is based on the duo’s first album, and is firmly rooted in the tradition of the Early Romantic composer from Vienna, who died in 1828 aged only 31.
