Angela Winkler: »Mein blaues Zimmer«
Harbour Front Sounds
A Glimpse behind the Film Sets
Volker Schlöndorff’s film »Die verlorene Ehre der Katharina Blum« (The Lost Honour of Katharina Blum) made Angela Winkler famous in 1975. She later played Oskar Matzerath’s mother in Schlöndorff’s »Die Blechtrommel« (The Tin Drum) based on the Günter Grass novel, and she has made numerous stage appearances in plays produced by Peter Zadek. In interview with Birgit Landis, the actress takes us on a trip through her life – to the theatre, to the film set and to her family. She is accompanied on the piano by Adam Benzwi, who she has been working with for more than 20 years.
