Ana de la Vega
Mozart / Beethoven / Poulenc
Following up on the phenomenal success of her debut CD, Australian flautist Ana de la Vega presents selected gems from the flute repertoire at her first appearance in Hamburg. Bach, Mozart and Beethoven shine alongside French music of the 20th century by Poulenc, Saint-Saëns and Bizet. The concert is brought to an end by François Borne’s »Carmen« Fantasia – indisputably one of the most stunning arrangements of Georges Bizet’s timeless masterpiece.
