Music nowadays is available everywhere and at all times. Are there any places without music left? Where silence reigns, where people pay attention to new stories? Before his new album »Outermost Edge« was released, violinist, composer and producer Alex Stolze set out in search of such places.
As a child he underwent strict violin training in East Germany; today, he plays a five-string violin that he built himself, and produces an unconventional mixture of indie pop, electronic and neo-classical music with the help of all manner of digital equipment. His songs are whispered, tentative and full of colourful details.
