Alela Diane

Singer-songwriter Alela Diane was born in California in 1983 and released her debut album »The Pirate’s Gospel« in 2004. It was published in the USA in 2007, but her career only really gained momentum following the European release, and in particular the enthusiastic reception in the UK. All she needs to conjure her magic are a guitar, understated piano lines, a slide guitar or mandolin, and her young voice: »I write about life, about love, about loss,« she says. Alela Diane is now touring with her fifth album »Cusp«.
