Albert Schweitzer Jugendorchester
Mendelssohn Bartholdy / Schumann / Bruckner
The Albert Schweitzer Jugendorchester was originally founded as the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium’s school orchestra and now fosters young, talented instrumentalists from all over Hamburg. The youth orchestra performs twice a year in the Laeiszhalle and is a full-size symphony orchestra made up of about 65 members ranging from 13 to 25 years of age.
