Symphonic versions of famous pop songs are the focus of Albert Hammond’s »In Symphony for Charity«. Accompanied by his band, the Leipziger Symphonieorchester and a choir, the songwriter showers the Laeiszhalle audience with his classics like »It Never Rains in Southern California«, »Down by the River« and »The Free Electric Band« as well as other international hits made popular by artists like Whitney Houston and Tina Turner.

Proceeds from this concert help the charities »Helping Hands e.V.«, »Kinder helfen Kindern« and »Ein Herz für Kinder«.
