60! Lifes

60 Years since the German-Turkish Recruitment Agreement

30 October marks the anniversary of the Recruitment Agreement between Turkey and Germany. People from Turkey have been living in Germany for more than 60 years. The artists have taken this as an opportunity, as part of the project »60! Leben«, to interview 60 people, record their stories in audio-visual portraits and make them accessible to the public. The project also includes an accompanying programme of readings, workshops and concerts – such as this one in the Elbphilharmonie Recital Hall.
