Description

»My Praguers understand me,« Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is said to have once remarked—a declaration of love to the city that welcomed him with enthusiasm like no other. In 1787, he dedicated his famous »Prague Symphony« to Prague—a work full of brilliance, wit, and orchestral sophistication. Exactly 240 years later, this masterpiece returns to the Vltava River in musical form: the Prague Philharmonia presents Mozart’s symphony at the Elbphilharmonie, reviving the spirit of that special connection between composer and city.
